winninghosting.com is great. They are barebones like google was. They just focus on great service and have a super helpful staff. They know how to keep their costs way down but still have all the speed and great features you need so I always go with them and am always very pleased.

They now offer plans starting around $0.99/mo for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.
They have all features such as PHP5, java ,Cpanel , Fantastico ( allows you to auto install Blogging systems and CMS portals without wasting time) , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more. Basically EVERYTHING! is supported.

Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor , Not to many features are supported.
Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.
yahoo , let me just say it’s the worst web host ever ,you can’t even host the amount of domains you want to host . Including FatCow.com. The downtime is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.
To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.

I have been using hostgator.com, they have unlimited disk space (you can upload tons of stuff) and unlimited bandwidth i.e. if you happened to
get your domain widely seen like on TV for example, your site will still be accessible by anyone who visits your site. it also has numerous extras too numerous to mention and its only $9.95 per month for their baby croc hosting package, not to mention the fact that you also get a $50 google adwords voucher to drive traffic to your site.

If you are already in business, you need to have a rocksolid hosting solution. Your website’s downtime will reflect poorly on you. That is why I suggest a VPS at KnownHost. They are simply the best, but it will set you back around 40$/month. Do not fall for most of the other posts who are just offering you affiliate links.

I use namecheap.com It’s pretty cheap, and has only been down once and only for about 3 hours in the 9 months I’ve had it. I pay $6.95/month and it has all the features you want. You’ll need the SSL package to securely process credit cards, but that’s pretty cheap too. It is definitely cheaper and better than Go-Daddy.
Designing the site is a whole nother animal. You’ll either need a program like dreamweaver, or be able to write html to build an e-commerce site. You could try using an online editor like weebly, but it wont come out very professional.

once I had the budget for 20/mo i went to media temple and they are amazing. They’ve given me personal PHP coding support before, I was in awe haha.
They have great up time and can deliver pages almost as quickly and to as many people as dedicated hosting so it kind of grows with you for a while.
